Labor lawyer Phillip B. Russell, will conduct a one-hour breakout session on building a strategic approach to combat the new union organizing movement.  During this session you will learn:

• How and why unions target particular businesses and why Florida is attractive to union organizers;
• How to train supervisors and managers in ways they can effectively communicate your company's union-free position;
• What employers can do to educate employees now about the negative impact of union on their lives; and
• How proposed new laws will make it dramatically easier for unions to organize, even in industries with little history of union activity.
